Message Ive seen the car in person (I live in AL) and the paint doesnt look that bad. It looks significantly better than most cars of its age. The interior is also in good condition. I dont honestly believe that the fact that it was missing a defroster switch is the reason you didnt buy the car. =\

If you werent sure about something, you should have looked into it further before bidding. You saw pictures of the car, post paintjob, and of the interior. If you dont have a better means of verifying larger ticket items and then show up and are disappointed in large part by your own lack of diligence in determining if the product is what you really want, you shouldnt have bid on it in the first place.

Am I placing the blame on you? NO. But Im not placing it on Kyle either. Perhaps he didnt divulge all the info about a couple of plastic pieces, but those are just nitpicks; its not why you decided to go back on your bid. ANd I also feel your being overly subjective in this post.

BTW, Ive talked to Kyle since seeing this message. According to him, he has replied back, and said that he *would* refund half your money, but then he got a paypal dispute claiming you wanted all of it back. Give people time to reply, not everybody checks email every 5 seconds.
